Other issues – Legal & business support (mediation/arbitration)
As independent business people, we sometimes encounter problems around invoices and general contract issues. Often these involve slow, or non-existent, payments for work already done.
The CFU will be launching a legal support system that will help members collect the money they are owed. This will include a full mediation process, and will eventually include a legal defence fund which can be used to take dead-beat clients to court.
